School Experience Programme (SEP)

The School Experience Programme (SEP) Crispin School, 23rd October 2014 9.00-14.45 

Spending time in a classroom is the ideal way to strengthen your application for teacher training. School experience gives you the chance to watch lessons and see for yourself what it's really like to be a teacher – and allows you to draw on your own examples in your application and interview.” 

 The School Experience Programme (SEP) offers classroom observation and experience in a secondary school. We will be hosting a school experience day at Crispin School.

We welcome potential candidates with a 2:2 or above and looking to teach secondary Art, Biology, Chemistry, Drama, English, Geography, History , Maths, Physics, Moern Foreign Languages (Spanish, French or German),  Music and PE (degree classification must be a 2:1 or above).

You can also apply as an undergraduate if you are:

  1. In your final year of studying for a degree in one of these subjects

  2. Interested in teaching one of these subjects
  3. Predicted at least a 2:2 degree

To apply for a SEP place you will need to register with The Department of Education. Once you have registered, you can apply for the SEP by calling the Teaching Line on 0800 389 2500. https://www.education.gov.uk/get-into-teaching/apply-for-teacher-training/sign-up.aspx
